Pokey Shoes

Do you like my new shoes?!? They were a Christmas gift from my "sistah from one naddah mistah" Dara. Every time I look down walking in the streets of Manhattan, I'll think of my doggie Pokey. :) Dara: Thank you for the awesome gift!

Dont worry...this is is my work uniform. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing khaki pants. YES...I sport my Trunnk while serving cocktails at a fine dining restaurant.

Basic Instinct

Thank you Francisco Costa of Calvin Klein for the beautiful Spring 2010 Collection. The collection is minimalist at its best. Black/White color palette with soft organic shapes and silhouettes. It's refreshing to see simplistic beauty stand out in fashion. I love how Francisco Costa incorporated Springs hottest trends while staying true to his signature style.

LOVE the tie-dye

Feather Obsession

Blazer: Theory, Top: Theory (underneath) and T by Alexander Wang, Skirt: Elizabeth and James
I love my new feather skirt! Had to share it with you:). Sorry about the slippers. My feet needed a break after wearing heels for eight hours at work. Don't you love my kiddie dinosaur eco-tote?!? Carried my leftovers from Tokkuri tei in there.

Top: Phillip Lim
Haven't wore this top out yet, but I love the feathers!!!

Goldin Is Golden

Louise Goldin Spring 2010
I like this collection because there are multiple inspirations incorporated into one common theme. Majority of the looks have a pastel color palette and subtle details.

90's Madonna pointy boobs.

Preppy "Happy Days" socks with heels look. Love the cropped sweater and high-waist skirt.

Futuristic innocence

The detail on the dress resemble shells and the socks have sea urchins!

The Best Damn Place In The World To Wake Up

Blue Scholars: Oof! EP
It's been years since I listened to Underground Hip-Hop. Blue Scholars has officially reeled me back in and I'm hooked with their Oof! EP. "HI-808" makes me proud to say that I'm from Hawaii. Watch this video and you'll be hooked too! Foodland, poke, The Shack, Zippys, Shave Ice, downtown...that's the 808 love.
Love the asymmetrical sleeves. I think the sleeveless and sleeve look is geneiuos! Why didn't I think of this myself?!? I am altering my shirts on my many days off work to create this hip and chic look.

Rock Hard Shoes:
I realized the shoes that have recently caught my eye and made my heart skip a beat resemble rocks. They are solid, a little bulky, harsh, strong, and dark. I need a pair of rock solid shoes to do battle in the greatest city in the world.

F*** You Up

I was never that into boots, but I need a pair for the big move to New York. If I'm going to get boots, they better be FYU (F*** You Up) boots. Gotta stay protected from the quazees and bullies. ;) I LOVE the quazees.

Alexander Wang Fall/Winter 2009 shoe collection. GEEEEZ...
Sexy, rugged, and innovative. These shoes have a masculine "i'll beat you up" appeal but still strictly sexy.

Tabitha Simmons suede and leather ankle boots. These powerful boots will look cute with a mini shirtdress, destroyed skinny denim, and boyfriend silhouettes (i.e. blazer, jeans, tshirt). It is the perfect balance between edgy and sexy:)

Taking it back to fall/winter 2008. Christian Louboutin Ariella studded boots. Red soles, black leather, silver studs, and 4 in. heel...Nuff said.

The New Suit

Alexander Wang and his tuxedo at the CFDA Awards. Black shorts and paired with a blazer made with suiting fabric. Genius! I love the skinny tie and collared shirt. Once again...Alexander Wang provides a contemporary twist on the classic suit. What a great alternative for hot Hawaiian weather.
Phillip Lim Resort 2010.
Love the contrast of knit and wool fabrics. The pink top paired with the gray wool jacket gives it a soft, innocent look. I just wish I could see more of the leather bag :)
